Calypso returns in Twisted Metal: Head-On. He is again seen sitting on a throne of car parts, but this time he is in a junkyard. His wish-granting methods remain the same; rarely granting anyone's wish to their satisfaction.

Appearance

His representation in Head-On is a combination of his previous renditions. He retains his sleek suit, hair, and figure (similar to the earlier games), but has the glass eye and is balding on the top of his head (similar to TM:B).

Weirdly enough, in illustrtions he wears a large black coat with a high collar. But during his appearance in the opening cinematic and the opening to the Big Blue Stadium, he appears to wear a faded green coat with a low collar, and a red shirt.

Downfalls

• Sweet Tooth - Needles decides that he has had enough of being a mere contestant, and wishes that he and Calypso should switch places. Despite Calypso's protests, he accepts, and his powers switch his mind with Needles. Needles proceeds to take control of Calypso's minions and has him killed immediately while becoming the new head of the tournament.
• Crimson Fury - Calypso tries to convince Agent Shepherd to claim his prize, but instead gets arrested by a swarm of FBI agents, as Shepherd did not make a wish, effectively preventing Calypso from interfering.

• "Oh well. I guess we'll clean that up later. Now then, about your prize, Needles Kane, what is your wish?"
• "That's your wish? You want a facelift?"
• "Nobody makes you compete, Needles!"
• "Make your wish and claim your prize already. I have things to do that don't involve you."

• "This demolition derby as you call it is actually a contest called Twisted Metal. And you are an uninvited guest!"

Trivia

• Despite the fact he grants wishes, he seemingly can't use his powers to defend himself (such as when Cousin Eddy choked him or when Agent Shepherd arrested him; furthermore, he can't refuse the wish, such as when Needles wished to switch bodies).
