Carl Roberts was a tertiary antagonist from the Twisted Metal television series. He was one of the top enforcers of the Lawmen gang, together with his sister, Jamie.
Appearance[]
He wore a black police uniform. Sometimes also wearing a vest.
Personality[]
Carl was shown to be quite incompetent and dim-witted, and although his sister was not the brightest either, he made her the smartest one in the room by comparison. He also often said some strange remarks.

Jamie Roberts[]
Jamie was Carl's sister. Carl often did something stupid that ended up embarrassing her or getting both of them into trouble.
Agent Stone[]
Agent Stone was his boss, and Carl seemed somewhat afraid of him, while still respecting him. Stone on the other hand, seemed mostly to be annoyed at Carl.
History[]
It's unknown what happened to him in the past to reach the point of joining the Lawmen. However, they were both tasked by Agent Stone to find the Mapmaker, and later John Doe and the Quiet, all of which disturbed Stone's goal of uniting the States.

Carl and Jamie's first on-screen appearance was in Stone's office in Topeka. Stone asked how the search was going, and Carl ended up saying that when they pop up, they'll be ready, as if they were not been searching at all for them. This caused Stone to grow irritated and scold them. Stone also confused them for lovers, and Carl corrected him that they're siblings. Stone finally tasked them with hanging the Milkman and the girl's bodies from the rotunda by the weekend, and they agreed, leaving afterwards.

Later in the day, Quiet did pop up at Topeka, and luckily Jamie and Carl ran into her. Quiet tried to run over Carl but he jumped out of the way, and later they informed Stone that they found her. Carl jumped in the call and made sure to say that they'll bring him her teeth, but Stone told them not to engage, as he wanted to deal with her himself.
The next day, after that incident was over and Quiet escaped, Carl radioed Agent Stone and informed him that Sweet Tooth had just hit their Colorado outpost, killing everyone and taking the prisoners with him. He also told Stone that he and his sister had a "minor" collision, which led to him getting scolded by Jamie. She then took over the call and said that everything was fine.

Later in the day, they arrived at Blackfield Asylum together with Stone and Mike, both wearing neck braces due to the collision that happened earlier. They killed all of the prisoners Sweet Tooth saved, and then tried to shoot Stu and Sweet Tooth. Stu saved Sweet Tooth by tackling him, leading to Carl and Mike to think they had shot and killed them. Afterwards, him, his sister, and Agent Stone went back to the base, while Mike and another Lawman stayed at the scene.
After John and Quiet escaped from the Nut House, Agent X informed Stone of where they were going. Later on, Stone gave a speech to the Lawmen, with both Carl and Jamie present.

Both were later seen at the final battle on Midtown Raceway, where they were seen driving Shadow. Further along the battle they exploded as Miranda Watts in her Twister redirects the missile following her to Shadow, killing both Carl and Jamie.

- Like Jamie, Carl's character acted nothing like his original counterpart from the videogames.
