Darkside is a vehicle from Twisted Metal: Black. This time around it is a playable vehicle for the first time since the original Twisted Metal.

Design

The truck resembles a Peterbilt 379. It has a police car chained to its front, acting as its bumper.

Description (Manual)

The vehicle Dollface has chosen to use in the contest is a semi-truck she calls Darkside. It was hijacked from the truck driver Dollface hitched a ride from. This armored behemoth is perfect to ram through opponents with a sirenless police car acting as a bumper.

Special Weapon

• Power Ram: Darkside accelerates to breakneck speed and crashes through anything in its way. Take note that the Special Attack can be rear-fired as well. Plus, ramming an opponent into a wall or "T-sliding" into an opponent will cause greater damage.

Trivia

• Darkside's special is the only special that will do damage even if the attack misses.
• The cab over version of Darkside seen in concept art was considered early on for the truck's design in Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, and a model was even created for it, but was ultimately rejected.
