Estate (also known as Becker's Estate, or Becker's Island) was a level from the cancelled Twisted Metal: Harbor City. This level isn't available in any playable form, official or otherwise.

Description[]

The level took place on an island, its main feature being the manor in the middle. The level has no known in-game screenshots, with the only material released being a map plan which calls it the Island Level, from October 8th 2004.

Although the manor from this level can also be seen burning at the beginning of a prototype clip named "Becker's Island", and in the background of a mockup teaser, both of which were released by one of the developers in their Vimeo account.[1]

Connecting Areas[]

EstateConnection

Connection of the Estate level with the rest of the map.

As seen in an early map plan from February 19th 2004, Estate only had one connecting area, being a Bridge level(?) on its southeastern side, which then connected to the Shipyard.

In subsequent map plans, Estate is not seen, and Shipyard has no indication of having a route that would lead to Estate, so it's unknown if it was still planned to be located on the same place later in development.

Trivia[]

  • Despite the level being selectable in the main menu in the August 11th, 2005 prototype, it cannot be played. Further inspection reveals that there's nothing inside of the level folder.
