Evelyn is a vehicle that was introduced in the TV series by Peacock, Twisted Metal, as the initial car of John Doe.
Design[]
Evelyn is an orange 2002 Subaru WRX.
History[]
Evelyn has been John Doe's car for 20 years, being found by him covered in leaves deep inside a forest, its former driver long deceased. He names the car after a license plate he finds in the Zorko Bros. junkyard.
In Episode 4: WHZDARE, John Doe acquires a blood missile from Miranda Watts, and eventually uses it on Episode 5: CRZSRDS on Outlaw in order to save Quiet.
In Episode 8: EV3L1N, it is stolen by a group of Holy Men, making John Doe and Quiet have to go on a rescue mission to save it. However, despite trying multiple times to recover it, Evelyn ends up exploding in the fight against Preacher.
Trivia[]
- There were four Evelyns built for the show - two for stunts, one for dialogue scenes or when it was parked, and one that had a pod car rig, which made it so the stunt driver could control the car while the actors focused on their scene.[1]
