The Joneses' Family Wagon is a vehicle from Twisted Metal 4. Its special is a weaker version of Warthog's from previous games.

Design[]

This car is closely based on the Griswalds' family wagon from the National Lampoon's Vacation film series, which was a 1979 Ford LTD Country Squire.

Description (Manual)[]

On the weekends they all like to get into their trusty seventies vintage station wagon and go blow things to bits. A trio of devastating homing missiles is the family wagon special weapon.

Special Weapon[]

  • Hornets: The Family Wagon launch three high-powered homing missiles, which cause heavy damage to an opponent.

Trivia[]

  • The Family Wagon is the first vehicle to have more than two drivers, second being RV.
  • In a TV commercial for the game, a station wagon somewhat resembling theirs gets blown up by a rocket from Sweet Tooth's vehicle, which was accidentally fired off by Melvin when trying to pop the hood.
  • This vehicle was simply known as "Wagon Car" in an early trailer for the game.[1]
