Ghetto was a level from the cancelled Twisted Metal: Harbor City. Part of this level was used to create the level named City of the Dead that was later made for Twisted Metal: Lost.
Description[]
It is a dilapidated city with run-down houses and industrial buildings. A ruined two-lane freeway runs through the middle of the area.

The original plan for Ghetto as seen in an early map plan from March 2nd 2004, was to have a route on its northern side that leads to the Airport, and a highway on its western side that leads to Downtown.
August 11th, 2005 Build[]
TRANS_6, the route to Downtown.
In the August 11th 2005 build, Ghetto still has a route which leads to Downtown, although it is placed north instead of west in this build, likely because Ghetto received a redesign. The route leading to Downtown gets blocked with barricades while the match is underway, with them retracting to the ground when all opponents have been defeated.

However, the tunnel entrance that was supposed to lead to Airport is now placed on the east side of the map instead of north, and the transition model itself is nowhere close to it, being loaded at the center of the map - likely not its proper location.
Trivia[]
- The model used for Cousin Eddy in Twisted Metal: Head-On can be found in this level in several areas as a prop that can be destroyed.
- The spotlights seen on the map in the latest build are placed next to the entrance to Downtown, hinting at the next location. However, in earlier screenshots the spotlights were placed on top of the scrapped Jesus Saves restaurant for unknown reasons.
