Body Slam	18 pts	Grasshopper jumps from the ground and smashes the targeted enemy. A green rectangle locked below the target indicates that Grasshopper is ready to execute its Special Weapon. If successful, your target will be thrown far away.
Upgraded Body Slam	18 pts 2 pts per acid	When the Special is upgraded, press the Fire Button repeatedly and a few beams of acid will hit your target before Grasshopper smashes into the enemy.

Trivia

• Grasshopper's upgraded special in Head-On, which involves tapping the fire button to shoot beams of acid whilst airborne may be a shout-out to Pit Viper, a vehicle with a similar appearance from the original Twisted Metal.
  • The inclusion of the acid may also be because in an early version of Twisted Metal: Head-On dated November 1st, 2004, when the game still was known as "Rage", Grasshopper was named Pit Viper.
