Amber is Miranda’s ex-girlfriend by the time the series begins, as they had broken up a while ago because Miranda didn't want to give Amber space for her plants, leading Amber to poison Miranda, which then led to Miranda throwing Amber out of a moving truck. Prior to Granny Dread’s death, she encouraged Miranda to contact Amber again, which she does after Granny Dread’s funeral. The two are happy to hear from each other again, and are presumably back together afterwards.
After Amber is shot in the neck during the battle with Agent Stone and has her semi blown up by Sweet Tooth, Miranda gets very worried and goes to check on her, and is very relieved when Amber is shown to be alive and well, albeit injured. The two embrace and kiss shortly thereafter.

- Miranda and her girlfriend Amber Rose are the third and fourth confirmed LGBTQ+ characters in the series respectively, with the first two being Raven and Kelly.
- However, Raven and Kelly’s relationship was confirmed in a Q&A livestream by David Jaffe and only implied in the game itself, making Miranda and Amber the first characters explicitly portrayed as such.
