Mr. Slam is a vehicle that has appeared in Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal 4, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, and Twisted Metal: Head-On.
Description[]
Mr. Slam has always been depicted as a yellow front loader/construction vehicle. It has good armor, a strong special, and poor speed. It is well-known for its special attack, which involves grabbing an opponent in its front lifter, and smashing or crushing their vehicle before tossing it away.

Mr. Slam's first appearance was from 1996's Twisted Metal 2. It is a yellow front loader with a mechanical claw as its bucket. It was driven by Simon Whittlebone. |

Its second appearance was in 1999's Twisted Metal 4, where it was known as Super Slamm. It now has a standard shovel as its bucket. It was one of the bosses from the Oil Rig, alongside Super Auger. Its driver is unknown. |

Its fourth and final appearance was in 2005's Twisted Metal: Head-On. Its name has reverted back to Mr. Slam and its design now resembles that of a front-end log loader. It is driven by the ghost of Simon Whittlebone. |
Scrapped[]
- Mr. Slam - Twisted Metal: Harbor City: Mr. Slam was planned to appear in the cancelled Harbor City title, and it is playable in all builds available.
- Mr. Slam - Twisted Metal (2012): Mr. Slam was planned to appear in the 2012 game, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. It was found because the model was posted on the designer's website (Mark Wahlquist).[1]

- Mr. Slam has the most name changes out of all the other Twisted Metal vehicles to date; his name changed from Mr. Slam to Super Slamm in Twisted Metal 4, then to simply Slam in Small Brawl, and then back to Mr. Slam again in Head-On.
- Mr. Slam, Grasshopper and Spectre are the only vehicles that have been piloted by ghosts.
- Some vehicles throughout the series have had special weapons that function similarly to Mr. Slam's. They are: Auger, Trash Man's Garbage Truck, Crusher and Dark Tooth (Head-On).
