Mr. Slam is an unlockable vehicle from Twisted Metal: Head-On. It is once again operated by Simon Whittlebone, but this time he's a ghost. He enters the tournament in order to finish Whittlebone Tower.
Design[]
Despite being meant to be a construction vehicle, Mr. Slam's incarnation in Head On is equipped with a front-end log loader meant for mill operations instead.
The PS2 version has darker textures, and the machine guns were moved from the front wheel wells to the sides of the cabin.
General Stats[]

Special Weapons[]
Special | Damage | Description |
---|---|---|
Bucket Slam Shake[1] | 22 pts | Mr. Slam grabs an enemy vehicle and slams it a few times before throwing it in the air. In the PSP version, it shakes the enemy vehicle slowly like in older games, but in the PS2 version it shakes them much quicker. The special will activate automatically when touching an enemy while it is selected. |
Upgraded Bucket Slam Shake | 34 pts max | Its upgraded Special makes it possible to charge up the special. Charging it up will launch its claws to grab and enemy and take them back, also dealing more damage. |
Online Special | to be added | While playing Multiplayer in the PSP version, Mr. Slam fires three missiles simultaneously instead of grabbing other players. |
How to Unlock[]
It is unlocked after beating the Freeway Slalom minigame in Los Angeles.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Slam's model in this game is the same one that was used for Twisted Metal: Harbor City, aside from its textures.
- Simon's model while driving Mr. Slam is more like his Twisted Metal 2 appearance, with a similar blonde hairstyle.
