Needles Kane is a character from Twisted Metal: Head-On. In this game, he is the split personality of Marcus Kane, the driver of Roadkill. As with Twisted Metal 4, Needles' goal in this tournament is to take over Twisted Metal itself.

In this tournament, if Marcus gives into his Needles persona, the two become the driver of Dark Tooth and Tower Tooth, the game's last two bosses.

Appearance

Needles' design draws heavy inspiration from his appearance in Twisted Metal: Black. Despite wearing a mask, he's still able to make facial expressions due to the comic style.

Bio

Needles is, by far, the most aggressive competitor Twisted Metal has ever known. He's competed in every Twisted Metal and has become known as the insane clown. He has become tired of this position as a simple competitor and with his wish hopes to take over Twisted Metal altogether.

Trivia

• In his ending, Needles implies that he has won the contest more than once (or survived them) when he asks Calypso "We've been doing this a long time, haven't we?"
• His mask in this game is a very unique one. While it has the straps of Twisted Metal: Black's mask, the design is a direct homage to the classic Twisted Metal face icon that appeared on the boxes of Twisted Metal 1 and 2, with arching blue eyebrows, sharpened teeth, and red-and-yellow eyes. Despite seemingly being a strap-supported face mask similar in construction to a traditional hockey mask, it is also capable of facial expression due to the comedic comic book artstyle.
