It is a black compact hearse R/C that resembles the 1966 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Hearse. It has two purple lines going over the middle of its body, with them resembling the shape of a coffin on the roof. The word "R.I.P" is written on top, as well as in a tombstone placed on the grille of the car. A skull is also placed above it. The car uses stickers for windows, with the rear ones having skulls painted on them.

Think your sister's dolls are scary? You obviously haven't seen Shadow's "scary action figure"! Once fired, it moves along the ground towards your opponent. If you want maximum damage, score a direct hit. But if you're going to miss, press the Fire Weapon button [L2 button] to immediately detonate it. It won't cause as much damage, but it's better than nothing!

Grim Reaper: He launches a Grim Reaper that can be detonated at will. It is slightly homing and doesn't do much damage.

According to Dave Goodrich, the art director for the game, Shadow's special was originally planned to be a coffin that shot out of the vehicle in an arc that would explode about ¾ths of the way of the arc or it could be detonated by the player. Upon exploding, the coffin would release remote-controlled bats that would swarm the targeted opponent and explode all over them in a manner similar to missile volleys seen in and made famous by the Super Dimension Fortress Macross franchise.

In an early alpha build from July 17th, 2001 that was shown off by Goodrich, the special was already closer to that of the retail version. However, the coffin model remained.[1]
