Shipyard (or Shipyards) was a level from the cancelled Twisted Metal: Harbor City.
Description[]
It is an artificial island replete with ships, some built and some undergoing repairs, as well as various shipments, cranes, watchtowers, dry docks, and warehouses that during the point of the latest build were still work in progress.
Connecting Areas[]
March 2nd, 2004 Map[]
According to an early map plan from March 2nd 2004, the routes outside of the Shipyard connected to the Stadium and the Freeway, but a later map plan from October 8th 2004 has the route to Stadium missing for some reason.

Connection of Shipyard and Estate from the February 19th 2004 map plan.
Also, an earlier layout map from February 19th 2004 showed that this area was supposed to connect to a "Bridge" on its southwestern side that eventually led to Becker's Estate. Estate and the Bridge are missing from later layout maps.
August 11th, 2005 Build[]

TRANS_9. The transition to Stadium.

TRANS_10. The transition to Freeway.
Shipyard has a freeway on its northern side that leads to two different places: Stadium to the west and Freeway to the east, just like the early map plan suggested. The routes don't load normally however, requiring the swapping of files in order for them to show up.
The route to Estate seen in the early map plan doesn't exist in this build, and there's no indication on the level that a route was going to be placed there, with Shipyard being from much later than that layout map (the level is from March 18th 2005). This, and it being gone from the later map plans, suggests that this connection was cut.
Trivia[]
- In the build that this level is available in, which is the latest one that was released to the public, it is very glitchy, with some spawn points being set outside of the map, lacking collision in certain areas, and pickups being placed in the air. The cause of this could be due to the level receiving a recent move or redesign, but it's unknown if it received such.
- It's likely that this level was based on the Vigor shipyard located in Harbor Island in Seattle, due to the matching location in the world map layouts.
