The Frosty Treats Ice Cream Truck is a vehicle from Twisted Metal: Small Brawl. It is controlled by Sweet Tooth.

Design[]

It is an R/C white ice cream truck with pink polka dots. It has the phrase "Frosty Treats" and a clown head design on its sides. The same clown head is also on top of the antenna. It has a yellow ice cream cone on its left rear door, and a green one on the right, their cones intersecting at the split of the doors. Its front license plate has "Sweet!" painted over it. In contrast to the typical clown heads on top of the truck, THIS one sports a green-and-blue fire hair motif rather than the standard orange, making this the most unique design thus far for the truck. It has pink fenders. Its windshields have a downward curving arch as if to have furrowed brows to make it look angry. It seems to be modeled after ice cream trucks of the 1950s.

Description (Manual)[]

Beware of this ice cream truck's Special Weapon - a tasty, yet deadly, ricocheting frozen treat with auto target re-acquisition action! If Sweet Tooth misses the first time, watch out for the rebound!

Special Weapon[]

  • Frozen Treat: Fires ice cream bar ricochets that bounce off walls and target the nearest opponent for an extended period of time.

Trivia[]

  • Prop of Sweet Tooth created to promote the game.

Prop of Sweet Tooth created to promote the game.

A lifelike prop of the R/C Sweet Tooth truck and a convincing package were made to promote the game in magazine print ads. It was created by Glyph Art Studio.[1]
  • Its name is similar to the truck's name from Twisted Metal: Black, that being: "Tasty Treats Ice Cream Truck".
  • This is the only car in the game to use a unique model on top of the antenna instead of flags like all the others.
  • A lawsuit was filed against Sony on March 16, 2005, by Frosty Treats, a former ice cream truck franchise based in Kansas City, MO, due to the use of the "Frosty Treats" logo and a clown on the side of the R/C truck, as well as the clown resembling the mascot of Frosty Treats, the Safety Clown. The lawsuit was dismissed on July 25, 2005.[2]
