The Holy Men are a faction from the television series by Peacock, Twisted Metal. They are a band of savage lunatics, constantly doing drugs and hunting down anyone in their way for fun. They are led by Preacher.

Traits

The men are called the "Holy Men" (and sometimes "Gods"), and are dressed with balaclavas over their faces; while the women are referred to as "Goddesses", and are dressed as dominatrices and worshiped by the men. According to their way of being, the Goddesses only ride shotgun, and all of the men drive.

The tolling of a bell attached to an unknown vehicle always signals to other travelers when the Holy Men are out and about. Anybody unlucky enough to be caught by them while on the road are nailed to a wooden cross and crucified in an upside-down position, typically leaving them for dead.

Every year they make their pilgrimage to the Rocky Mountain Fuckfest in Colorado. Before partaking on the "seven deadly delights", they offer tribute to their leader, Preacher. The gifts usually consist of guns and drugs, much to his annoyance, despite his gratitude.

Vehicles

Brimstone

Brimstone was the Holy Men car chosen for the tournament. It was a PT Cruiser, and was driven by Deacon and Brenjamin, who are the caretakers of the new Preacher.

Jimmy

The most unique vehicle seen in Episode 8 is a SUV outfitted with several bones. It is used by one of the Holy Men and the Goddess Janice to escape together with a unconscious Preacher. In the set plan of the Holy Men Camp, it is referred to as "Jimmy", because it is a GMC Jimmy.

Holy Men Car #1 (Janice Car)

The car referred to as the Holy Men Car #1 (or the Janice Car), is the one where all the Goddesses are seen hanging around. The car is missing its doors, but has weapons, indicating it is operational.

Holy Men Car #2

The car referred to as the Holy Men Car #2 is only seen briefly in the background. It is also outfitted with several bones.

Motorcycles

Various Holy Men driving motorcycles are seen in the camp.

Stolen Evelyn

Many other vehicles driven by other Holy Men are seen, most of them likely stolen from their victims. They are sometimes given to Preacher as gifts, such as when Evelyn got stolen by one of them and given to Preacher.

Trivia

• The Holy Men are references to the faction from Twisted Metal (2012) with the same name. However, they act completely different from the ones in the TV Series.
• The black masks the Holy Men wear in the TV Series may be a reference to Preacher's gunner in TM(2012), who wore a black wrestling mask.
