This time around, it takes the form of a small remote-controlled race car. While the two versions of Twister preceding and succeeding its Small Brawl iteration boast a blue, yellow, red and pink color scheme, the R/C car version boasts a blue, purple and white color scheme. It has the name "TWISTER" on its spoiler, a tornado design on its sides, and the number 26.

Tornado Cyclone: A blue cyclone will form around the vehicle, sucking in any nearby vehicles. It is much easier to use than in Twisted Metal 2 since the tornado does not affect your movement.

Curiously, although Twister is meant to be a race car, and the game manual describes it as the fastest car in the game, Crimson Fury actually outmatches it in terms of speed.
The top.
In an early alpha build from July 17th, 2001 that was shown off by Dave Goodrich, Twister's special was a spinning top that would also have leaves rotating around it.[1]
The top is still within Twister's files in the final game, but is unused.
