Trivia

  • Its license plate (DIERODNT) means "Die Rodent"
  • While the "Piloted Rat Rocket" is being guided, an instrumental of "Three Blind Mice" is played until detonation.
  • Just like the missiles in Nuke, the "Piloted Rat Rocket" can be shot down.
  • Vermin shares the same name of a vehicle in the 1998 car combat game "Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012" (developed by SingleTrac). However, in TM 2012, Vermin is a 1970's Ford van, while in Rogue Trip, the vehicle is a 1940's Ford coupe.
  • In additon, Vermin shares the same motif of "Intruder" (driven by an amateur superhero known as Ratman), another vehicle in "Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012".
  • Vermin appears in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale in the level Time Station, a level based on Ape Escape that crosses over with Twisted Metal, Patapon, God of War, Jak and Daxter, and most notably, Resistance. Specter is trying to summon an enemy to harm the players, and one "enemy" that appears in the Vermin van. As the van stays parked on the platform, one of Specter's monkeys playfully rides on top of the "Piloted Rat Rocket" and circle the laboratory.
  • This is the second exterminator vehicle to appear in the Twisted Metal series (The first being the Roach Coach).
  • The "Vermin" name was used for Roach Coach's driver in the Twisted Metal TV Series.
