WarHawk is the final boss of Twisted Metal: Black.

He is a police officer who made it his mission to put the escaped inmates of Blackfield Asylum back inside by any means necessary.

Story

WarHawk's past is shrouded in mystery, and is only referenced by Agent Stone, the driver of Outlaw, who respected him while they were colleagues and laments having to kill him. It is also revealed in Sweet Tooth's storyline that he was the one who captured him and put him in Blackfield Asylum. Despite WarHawk being the final boss, he was not actually part of the tournament and only appeared to put an end to the mayhem.

Trivia

• WarHawk's personal role in Twisted Metal: Black seems to reflect the role of Sgt. Carl Roberts in previous games, as he is a good cop who only wanted to bring an end to the Twisted Metal Tournament.
• WarHawk was originally intended to be a playable character and even had pictures for the character select screen FMV, as well as having a cut-in portrait for the game's loading screens. However, during this character's development, it was discovered that most of the levels weren't designed to be played by flying vehicles and due to the lack of time this idea was cut.
• In the beta, if you modify and mute ambience and vehicle audios in-game, you can hear WarHawk's cut dialogues.
